Standard
Aquariums
All of the aquariums at ATM are
built with the knowledge and expertise
to insure that the precise thickness
of acrylic is used in order to prevent
bowing. Bowing is a term used to
describe an aquarium that protrudes
at its widest point due to pressure
pushing out the panel .This causes
crazing .Crazing is when you see
what looks like little scratches
in the acrylic and at the seams of
your aquarium. Actually these are
micro-fractures that can eventually
lead to the breakdown of the seams
where the panels are chemically bonded
together. This comes from not using
the proper thickness of acrylic and
in some cases is also caused by cleaning
the surface with the wrong chemicals.
(See care and maintenance). In the
long run this could possibly lead
to the seams leaking or eventually
causing the aquarium to burst.
Rectangles
are the most common aquariums in
the industry and usually the lowest
priced. At ATM we are known primarily
for our custom shaped aquariums.
However we also build all the “Standard” sized
aquariums too. This is done in
an effort to keep the cost to you
the end user as low as possible.
ATM
is growing by leaps and bounds;
we are in the process of updating
our prices, If you need a price
